Eine Kurzinformation (!) die ich erhalten habe:

Your Imperial Majesty,

The Principality of Sarmatia was oficially founded

on May 25, 2002, following the work of the

Organizing Commitee of the Principality of

Sarmatia founded on May 5, 2002 (consisting of six

Funding Fathers, two of whom are still Sarmatians

- that are Count Nowicki, chief of secret service

and ourselves).

On June 10, 2002 Sarmatia became the first Polish

micronation having its own simulation of economy

("Syriusz" - abbreviation for the System of

Registration and Usage of Sarmatian Resources),

until today the countries that have developed such

economic simulations are Brugia (Brugge, Bruges)

and Natania sharing a system called "Ulryk"

(Ulrich), Scholandia and Wandystan (their system

is called "Cintra"). Sarmatian currency is libert

(abbreviation "lt") that is divided into 100 pins.

Our economic simulation plays an important role in

the life of our nation.

We have not developed our own language (although

other Polish micronations make efforts to do so).

Our chronology is divided into two parts: the

pre-Internet era that is purely fictional and in

general is not based on real history (despite e.g.

our name, Sarmatia, that relates to the ancient

tribe of Sarmatias due to the fact that Polish

nobility of the First Polish Commonwealth period

claimed to be their heirs) and the Internet era

(since 2002) that is purely real.

Sarmatia is a constitutional monarchy with the

Prince being a head of state. New laws are passed

by the Parliament (Polish Sejm, German Reichstag)

constisting of the Prince, the Senate and the

Chamber of Deputies or through the Prince's

decrees that can be rejected by the Chamber of

Deputies. The Senate consists of the members of

Sarmatian aristocracy: dukes, marquises and

counts, whereas the members of the Chamber of

Deputies are elected by the Sarmatian citizens

every three months.

The Sarmatian Government consists of the Prince,

Minister-Chancellor (who is appointed by the

Prince with the consent of the Chamber of Deputies

and is responsible for the current work and

forming the policies of the Government) and six

senior ministers of: National Heritage, Finances

and Economy, Promotion, Citizen Affairs and

Foreign Affairs that are appointed by the Prince

on the advice of Minister-Chancellor. Plus, the

state administration consists of two state

agencies responsible for the Informatic Systems

and Public Places (such as our Yahoo group).

The judical system consists of two courts:

National Court (the lower one) and Supreme Court

that acts also as a constitutional court. Supreme

Court judges are appointed by the Prince with the

consent of the Senate, whereas National Court

judges are appointed by the Prince on the advice

of the President of the National Court. The Prince

has the right to pardon all sentences.

Our country is divided into three parts: two

autonomical provinces (County of Gellonia and

March of Teutonia) headed by the Governors

appointed by the Prince (in Teutonia, on the

advice of the Electoral Council) and the Crown

Territory. The Sarmatians live in 11 cities and

towns - three in each of the provinces and four in

the Crown Territory. Our capital is Grodzisk, that

is the largest city in Sarmatia.

As you might see, our constitution is somehow

modern and is roughly based on the principles of

the distribution of power and the autonomy of the

local governments, with regard to the strong

constitutional role of the monarch.
